Whether around a table or around a carrot patch, Mid-Ohio Foodbank is committed to getting fresh food to our hungry neighbors. We need your help to turn empty pieces of land into places where the community can roll up their sleeves and grow a healthier neighborhood!
When you make a donation, you help keep the pay-what-you-can farm stand and community u-pick area open to the neighborhood – so that everyone has access to nutritious food. The pay-what-you-can farm stand at Clarfield Farm has become a neighborhood beacon, and a community gathering place. In the word’s of a patron of the farm stand, “I didn’t even cook with vegetables until you opened this stand. Now I can eat a meal of just vegetables and my husband is thrilled.” You can make this healthy, nourishing meal a reality.
A monthly gift to Urban Farms of Central Ohio will help provide consistent fresh produce to those struggling to make ends meet. With your gift, families can walk down to the Farm and pick veggies, kids can enjoy the taste of a fresh strawberry and seniors can cook greens the way their mother did.
We also gladly accept in-kind donations of materials and services. Let us know if you can provide one of the following wish list items to help each farm grow.
- Large Coolers (25 gal)
- Hand clippers
- Harvest cart
- Folding Tables (4×8)
- Assorted construction tools: cordless drill, cordless circular saw, hammers, wrenches, and ratchets
- T-Posts (6ft)
